As mass shootings have become routine police training for them has become routine, and businesses have been forced to make their own plans to confront workplace violence.
On Wednesday, March 30, the law firm Norris McLaughlin & Marcus will host a free seminar on active shooters and workplace violence from 8:30 to 11:30 a.m. at 721 Route 202-206, Suite 200, in Bridgewater. Among the presenters will be security expert Barry Brandman, right. Diccon Hyatt gets Brandman's advice on how to prevent workplace violence while being prepared for the worst.

The Charles and Anne Morrow Lindbergh exhibit runs through October 2016 at the Morven Museum. Linda Arntzenius reports on the efforts by curators Elizabeth Allan and Heather Smith to chart the lives of the Lindberghs. The aviator Charles is most well known for being the first to cross the Atlantic nonstop, as well as his son's kidnapping several years later outside of Hopewell.
